The Community Network "Alliance in the Alps" is an association of around 250 municipalities and regions in seven Alpine states that has been in existence since 1997.

In order to expand our team in Übersee at Lake Chiemsee we will fill the following position at the earliest possible date

Communication officer (m/f)

Part-time (20 hours)

Your responsibility covers:

  • operational support of the management
  • editorial work for the website and social media channels
  • international media and public relations work
  • administration of the database; processing of mailings
  • support in the organisation and implementation of international conferences and workshops
  • support in project development and project management

Your qualifications:

  • studies/completed vocational training with focus on communication, event management, etc.
  • ability and pleasure in creating articles and communication material
  • experience in content maintenance of websites and social media channels
  • experience and expertise in the field of sustainable regional development is an advantage
  • knowledge of the spatial and cultural diversity of the Alpine region is desirable
  • secure language skills in English (written and spoken); knowledge of the four Alpine languages (DE, FR, IT, SL) is an advantage
  • ability to act independently, ability to work in a team, good communication skills and willingness to work flexibly
  • mobility and willingness to travel occasionally, even in remote Alpine regions
