The project GreenConnect studied the contributions of ecological connectivity measures to a green economy in the alpine context and highlighted some of the potential socio-economic impacts.
For the fourth time overall, Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein will award the International “Constructive Alps” Prize for sustainable architecture. The contest aims at honouring the most outstanding sustainable construction and sustainable renovation projects, in accordance with the principles of sustainable architecture across the Alps.
The manifold aspects of the relationship between the Alps and the people who live, work and recreate there will be the main focus of the fourth edition of the AlpWeek in October 2016 (11. - 15.10.) in Grassau/Achental (Germany).
